The fourth day saw no formal approach from the govt though some politicians came to meet sir and show solidarity for the first time. Reportedly, Gagan Thapa and Krishna Sitaula have pledged to convey the message from KC sir to PM.
The students are now clearly losing patience with the gross negligence of the state as the health of KC sir deteriorates. He has been complaining of dizziness from the morning and his blood pressure is showing signs of steady decline. The undergraduate students at IOM have boycotted the classes even though the PG residents are on duty as usual. That too is likely to change today if govt shows no formal response.
A solidarity campaign from prominent and leading professionals from various walks of life is set to develop by today evening (Thursday).
A team from Nagarik daily including the chief editor Prateek Pradhan came to meet sir in the afternoon and Setopati chief editor Ameet Dhakal and Annapurna Post chief editor Yubaraj Ghimire came to meet him in the evening.
Apparently, the leading media outlets are taking this fight as their own and this has immensely boosted the morale of KC sir amid the negligence of the state. This Setopati report in particular, has stoned the hornet's nest and the aura of invincibility among the private medical colleges is likely to unravel if other media outlets also undertake investigative pieces like this. Hopefully the students who are suffering under the iron fists of college owners will now speak more and more as that is the only way to hold them accountable to raise the standards in every college.
These tweets from leading commentator Vijay Kumar have also done a great help to spread the word:

Meanwhile, Rajesh KC has joined the solidarity movement with this cartoon at Setopati:
And this from Vatsyayan:
Meanwhile people are grilling the Finance Minister Ram Sharan Mahat like this:

And here is a fitting response from another commentator:
"मेरो एकाउन्ट त्यतिबेला कसैले ह्याक गरेको थियो ! मैले हैन, ह्याकरले ट्विटेको हो !"
डा. महत यसो भनेर उम्कनू !

And finally here is an online petition to save KC sir's life, you are requested to visit the page and sign the petition:

Seeing all this, it is safe to assume that even though the storm is not yet here, it is gathering momentum and soon will be here. Keep tuned.
